Pattison Anti-Freeze
Pattison Anti-Freeze
Using the Pattison Anti-Freeze will enhance the longevity of your liquid fertilizer pumps, or distribution kits and sectional controls from the elements of our cold winters. Improper storage can cause expensive unwanted repairs! Our Propylene Glycol Mix is environmentally friendly, with a built in rust inhibitor and will not damage gaskets and seals that would occur with using methanol or ethanol brands. Pattison Anti-Freeze is recommended by CDS John Blue Co. and is safe up to -50 degrees Celsius.
Pattison Anti-Freeze can also be used on other systems like your high clearance sprayers, estate sprayers or any other system that is susceptible to freezing.
Using Pattison Anti-Freese for winterizing liquid fertilizer distribution kits:
- After the seeding season is done there is work to prepare for the next season. Leaving liquid fertilizer in your system over winter can cause the build up of salt and lead to plugged strainers and orifices in the next season. Pump clean water through your system to remove any residual products. After the system is thoroughly cleaned pump Pattison Anti-Freeze through the system to avoid damages from frozen lines or fittings.
Our anti-freeze is available in 4 liter jugs, 20 litter pails, 205 liter barrels or 1,000 tote.
Problems caused with other products:

- No rust inhibitor (most brands)
- Contains methanol and ethanol, which dries out gaskets and seals
- No lubrication qualities
Automotive anti-freeze
- Not environmentally friendly
- Contains ethylene (which dries out gaskets)
- May contain silicate
- Can freeze or gel if not mixed properly
